@@diesel961 It was over 9 years ago that I bought it and it didn't look like this! I did quite a bit to it. But I bought it for $2900 in Seattle and drove it all the way back home to MN. Brutal drive! No AC, no cruise control, and no reclining seats (it had a bench seat). And I didn't drive over 60 mph just in case. I wanted to take it easy. It was a VERY long drive home! But it made it without any issues.

In case you sell it, would you please let buyer know I have a '71 Malibu 4 dr. that was under a complete off-chassis restoration (chassis prepped, painted, body sealed, undercoated and fully lined w/Dynamat Xtreme, etc.). Many parts! Brand new C.I. hood, fender & windshield. Very nice full, clean set of '92 Taurus front bucket (power driver) and rear bench black cloth / vinyl seats -- perfect fit (once neatly installed in a '72 just like yours; no console). Alas, had to abandon project for family health reasons. // Thanks! Best wishes.

They were 15x8 Smoothies. I'm not sure of the back spacing though. Maybe 4.5 inches? I think they had a 0 offset, if that helps. Front tires were 235/60R15 and the rears were 255/60R15.

Well, it had an aftermarket aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 4bbl carb, a stage 2 200-4R tranny, a somewhat "free-er flowing exhaust, and an open diff. The car was slow as balls, but from a dig it could one-wheel-peel ok. Lol.

@midrangetorque7 жыл бұрын
Porter Sherman It all depends. In the 60s and 70s you could probably flip a coin as to whether a Chevelle had posi or not. Same goes with Novas, Camaros, Impalas, etc. It was an option back then. Today, if a certain make/model/trim has it, all of the same produced cars will have it and vice versa...from the factory anyway. It just never makes sense to me how a big & powerful german sport sedan/coupe WON'T have a LSD, but a "sporty" version of a compact fwd Japanese car will! I don't know. Anyway...
