the Telecaster as a model, yes, I have a Telecaster that's better than the one he's playing in this video... it's a solid body pink paisley, original 1968...plays better than anything I've ever even played before in my 26+ years playing guitar
@paulcuthbert9 жыл бұрын
IMaDEM0N "Better" in your opinion maybe. In MY opinion, this is the best guitar in the world - in terms of looks, tone, feel - I love this guitar. And it's not pink!

True CuNiFe WRHB's are amazing (I redid the poles in my 72 Tele Dlx RI with a much coveted rod of the stuff I found in an old electronics store I worked on)... even these RI's are better then standard "Gibson style" HB's IMO. I think this MIGHT have to be my next guitar purchase, or something like it. Love that chimey hollow-body tone, lovely playing mate, thanks.

your double stops and bends are sick, been waiting to get this guitar for ages n been looking for a good video of someone playing one; all the other videos ive seen are playing it through a distorted amp which sounds absolute wank, nice cheeky little blues face at 2:48 n love the outside bends that follow, nice man

Have you ever heard Greg make a guitar sound bad? That should be his challenge. I don't think I've seen one demo where, straight after, I've not gone to eBay to seek out the guitar in question. Now where can I get £290.00?
@paulcuthbert9 жыл бұрын
+memamohleleng Unless you already have £700 spare to add to it, I doubt you'd get one of these for £290! Which is a shame, because I'd SO be able to afford one already. Oh well, only a year 'til I qualify (I've told myself this guitar is my 'you've qualified and deserve a present' present! :D)

This guitar sounds different than all the others ;-) I´d like to know what you think about these pickups, I heard great things and bad things about them. They say they don´t have the same alloy of the originals. I don´t know about that but they sound very nice to me. I´m trying to decide between this and the 69. Really nice video! Thanks.

Other teles with HB: Road Worn has one HB, Blacktop has two, as well as Jim Root, some customs...Depends on what you like. With a single coil there´s more twang but I think the body and the bridge has to do with it, too. A strat with single coils sounds different than a tele. And it all depends on what you play and what you like

hi , can someone advise me ? you think this guitar is a suited second guitar for gigs, i play on a gibson les paul traditional but i am looking for a guitar with a different sound yet not the price class of a gibson, that's why the fender telecaster thinline seems suited
@b.j.surfdog372410 жыл бұрын
Is a Tele thinline with Humbuckers brighter than a gibson with same pups?
@IMaDEM0N10 жыл бұрын
Brighter? idk, maybe... Tele's are historically known for being TWANG MONSTERS...so like it might be difficult for a lot of people to not confuse "Brightness" with "Twang"...
@nickfanzo7 жыл бұрын

I would love to see a shootout between the Mex guitar and the American made of the same natural Thinline. I am curious about what another thousand dollars does when buying one of these,
@drexlspivey58285 жыл бұрын
Kirk Hargreaves Makes the guitar last longer, less trips to the repair shop, frets probably last longer, less likely to rust, plays better, something you'll find is that people incorrectly think the difference in price is all down to the immediate sound, but if that was the case everybody would be buying £90 Encore guitars and fitting them with top of the range pick ups.
@WarPede5 жыл бұрын
Frets doesn't last longer on American fenders. I have more than one of American, Mexican and Japanese fenders and in my experience the Americans frets are like butter, wear down super fast. Mexicans last a little longer, but Japanese are absolutely the best, in every way, not just the frets. Other than that, the finish and pickups are the biggest difference on American and Mexican fenders, where Mexicans are not so good as American. But also here the Japanese are the best.
