These are super underrated guitars. Mine is a very dark Cherry color from 1976. It is all original. Plays and sounds fantastic. Mine has a solid block from neck to endpin just like a 335. I have heard that in some of these, the block did not go all the way to the endpin. Also, I have a real ABR-1 bridge that is mounted directly into the block vintage style. It does not use any screw-in stud mounting. I find that to be great but so unusual. Maybe the new harmonica bridges or Nashville bridges were considered to be more modern at the time and therefore they were using up the ABR-1 supply. Who knows. I don't mind the top mounted drop in controls. Gibson did this on some SG models at the time too. This saved cost and it makes it Soooo much easier to work on if needed. Love the video.Anyone have any more information about the ES-325? Not a lot out there.

The ES-325 in the video has a block from under the bridge to the end pin. So the neck pickup is kind of 'floatin', which gives it a bit more 'acoustic' flavour. Indeed underrated guitars. Those early 70s can be great 'value for your buck'.

The sound of mini-humbuckers is somewhere between humbuckers and P90's: fat and still 'open', I love them!
