I bought a new C70 in 1980 and I rode it for hundreds of miles at full throttle (50 mph) and it shook wildly as it has a never to exceed speed limit. The C70 should not be modified as it would be very dangerous to the rider. I have my same 1980 C70 stripped to the frame readied for a new paint job and to modify it for higher speeds is a death wish and should not be promoted.

It is not a death wish, all the parts upgraded are for the amount of cc installed, thats why it has better forks and disk brakes for extra stopping power, keep having fun with the stocky i love them to, it all about the rider also
