1972 Honda Z600 Sport Coupe

Here's a rare as hens' teeth 1972 Honda Z600, one of the earliest Honda automobiles, powered by the "big" 600cc 2-cylinder engine, coupled via chain drive to a 4-speed manual transmission. Size matters, and fun sometimes comes in small packages!

My best friend bought one brand new back in 1972. I drove him to the dealership to take delivery of it. I remember that crazy looking year shift setup!! Lol! Some months later, we had 4 guys in it and took a sharp merge lane a little (?) too fast and it tipped over into its side!! We got out and just tipped it back over, got back in, and drove on our way!! Crazy times!!!

Merciless Ming out of California should be able to help you out. It wont be cheap, and they dont call him merciless for nothing.....he can be an a**hole to deal with....I speak from personal experience. Ozzy, mother earth news had an article on using 16hp "lawn mower" engine in one. Front wheel drive, CV joints. Oil filter is a pain.

Honda 598cc 2 cylinder 4 cycle motorcycle..front wheel drive, that belt and pulley in vid. was for the fan to air cool the motor. Also it met the 1975 pollution requirements. Great car, seats 4 uncomfortably.👍👍
