Yes, the Bridge should have straight barrel. but that should be an easy swap out. not so sure what they were thinking about the location of that thumb rest location, Zero-Mod makes a thumb rest relocator that uses the factory pickguard screws a much better option then that, the stock one should be below the bass stings as a tug bar . cheers.

The pickguard is cracked around the screw that's nearest the input jack. They tend to do that b/c it takes a lot of pressure to pull the instrument cord out and the screw is holding all of the stress. It's pretty annoying b/c you have to be careful not to break the pickguard every time you unplug.
