Got my used 2002 P Bass off of Craig's List for $220. Fender Mexico. I'd put it up against any US made - they are essentially the same. Mine had a pro set up when I got it in 2010. New strings are the ONLY thing I've done to it. So get your bass. FYI: join your church worship team. You'll always have a gig and the rest of the team is former/current rockers. Absolutely the best players I've worked with since I began gigging in 1982.

@@AdmiralQuality ... Well, where is he wrong Sailor?
@AdmiralQuality5 жыл бұрын
@@michaelgallagher3640 For one, Nitrocellulose lacquer isn't "illegal". (The *solvent* , acetone, is in *only in California* , *only in large quantities* and *only very lately* -- they use an alternative, but either way that all evaporates off anyway.) The slab board has nothing to do with international sales or neck stability. That was just how they did it. The laminate board was to save money/materials. The necks don't "petrify". That's ridiculous. The guitar would be faulty and impossible to setup if that was the case. That's just off the top of my head without forcing myself to watch it again.

Admiral you don't know what you're talkin about. The lacquer of today is different from the lacquer of the 50s and 60s. He is correct that lacquer is illegal. Do some homework.
