1973 Plymouth Barracuda 440 - my favorite car growing up

The 1973 Plymouth Barracuda was one of my all-time favorite cars growing up. I recall having a Revell model of a Dunn & Reath 1973 Plymouth Barracuda. Unfortunately, the model did not survive. However, the real deal 1973 Plymouth Barracuda featured here did survive. This car is an excellent example of the 1973 Plymouth Barracuda with the 440 Super Commander engine in it.
The current owner purchased this specific car from an RV dealer. Evidently the previous owner traded it in on an RN. Hmmm. I don’t think that was a trade up though. This car has everything a 1973 Plymouth Barracuda should have. The big block MOPAR engine, the automatic transmission, the cool stripes, the amazing gauges, the bucket seats and the sound. The engine sound on this car is perfect.
With a new grille and single headlights (very similar to the 1970 model) and four circular taillights for 1972, the Plymouth Barracuda would remain basically unchanged through 1974 The Plymouth Barracuda had new bodyside stripes, and minor changes to the bumpers to conform with federal impact standards being the only significant variations to the 1973 Plymouth Barracuda. The Plymouth Barracuda featured Big block engines (383, 440, & 426 Hemi), heavy-duty suspensions and rear axles, and large/wide tires mounted on 15" x 7" wheels.
