1973 PPV People Powered Vehicle

This was for sale on my local Craigslist cheap because it was broken. Both pedal freewheels were broken as can be seen in the pictures at end of the video. This antique Velomobile is a hoot to ride around. I modified an old 3-speed hub by welding a sprocket on the hub and fabricated a bracket for it. I also swapped the 37 tooth chain ring for a 30 tooth chain ring. I can now climb the steepest of hills and still be able to run up to 17 mph on the flats with a Stoker sitting on the right. I adapted boat seats as the original seats were uncomfortable and damaged by many years of use. The boat seats actually look original to it and actually improve the peddling as you are now at the correct position for peddling
