After riding a Yamaha LS2 for a year I traded it in on one of there. Same color. Loved that bike. Sold it when I went into the AF and then bought a 1977 GT550 - the final year for them - and traded it in on a GS1000. Still would like to pick up a project GT-550.

I just bought a barn find 1973 GT 550 which has been sitting for many years in a storage unit. It’s a full frame off job and it’s about 95% complete but missing some parts to the carbs. The exhaust are in excellent shape and the chrome rims are in good shape. Whomever owned it was on a low budget as it has a few back yard DIY rigs on it like the seat(hideous). The odometer says 16,023 miles but I have my doubts. It doesn’t run so it’s a full rebuild crack the cases and inspect for serious carnage. I’m going to powder coat the frame and Vapor blast the engine cases and cylinders, hubs and response with new spokes. I need side covers which I’m finding are hard to find. The tank appears to be in good shape very minor surface rust. It will make a great bike if I don’t find any Gremlins in the engine. It will be beautiful with chrome expansion chambers and so fun to ride.

The paint color was dubbed "Grace Lime Metallic" by Suzuki.

I live in Canada 🇨🇦. I just bought a 1970 Suzuki GT 550. 17,000 miles on it. Lot’s of work to do on it. Is Cypress a good place to ride?
