Any reason why Pat only did 1 season calling the NBA? He was really good that at least had done much more games.

@@americangiant1003 that’s a good question. I’ve always wondered about that myself. Wish he was still around.

@@kvb44 I can understand giving top priority to both the NFL and PGA Golf. However Pat sounded excellent here and very surprised at least doing the late ‘70s and into the ‘80s when had CBS the NBA TV Contract for Mr Summerall to at least do a few regular season and playoff games.

@ my guess is that since CBS now had Musberger under contract, they either didn’t need Pat to do NBA games or he just didn’t want to. Only a guess on my part though.

Hard to believe the entire NBA playoffs are over with before the middle of May. It's too bad that today's NBA and NHL playoffs are still going on until late in June which is a joke
