Well done joseph, you and the team did a great job on the exhaust. Enjoy your week
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, this was a team effort. The tractor is much quieter to use with the exhaust in that position. I hope you have a good week too

Good fix on the exhaust , It looks so much better on the side like that! Thanks for sharing
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, it is much quieter too. I was pleased with the way it turned out. We were a bit concerned about the nuts on the manifold. Take care and have a good week

Nicely Done GTB! I like that your dad cut and painted it. It does look a lot better. Glad you got the fire out! lol It happens when you work around fluids. Have a good week my friend!
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, we both did work on this project. The fire was a bit scary but we had it under control in a few seconds. I hope you have a great week and things are getting back to normal for you

Good day Joseph Crew 🌞 Great welding fix 👍😊 look like your are getting a nice welding shop 😊👍 Nice black paint ( were is the yellow ? ) 🤣 That tractor is ready to have a FEL 👍😊 Have a great week at school Joseph !!! 👍Cheers !!!
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, you are right we are missing the yellow. We need to do a proper black and yellow paint job on something LOL. We would love a FEL and that is the perfect tractor but they are very rare especially in the UK

@@GardenTractorBoy Joseph everything start with a plan 😊 and after you design it, and then you start to get parts ( steel, iron, hydro valve and hose,,, ) and if you built it your plant will come together 😊👍 Cheers !!!

Great looking exhaust mod, hopefully it will avoid damage better now. Nice work !
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, it is nicer to not have the exhaust by your ear too LOL. We have a few more jobs to do on the tractor before we can give it a full test. I hope you have a great week

Hey there Joseph!!! I sort of like the exhaust being vertical, but there are many reasons why it is preferable to have it horizontal. You guys did a nice job getting the muffler unbolted and painted up. The angle cut really accents the muffler very nicely!!! It sure look pretty now. Great job and thanks for sharing. Take care!!
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
The exhaust is very loud on the tractor and even though it looks good vertical it is not a lot of fun when it is close to your ear LOL. On these tractors the exhaust can be in either position and only vertical when a FEL was fitted. It looks more standard horizontal and makes the tractor a lot nicer to use. The exhaust is not the original one and we cut it down again to make it look more original. Take care and have a good week

Joseph, that made a big difference in the appearance and I'm sure the noise factor too I'm thinking you have great plans for this HT20 in the future. See you later!
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, it has made a huge difference to the noise. It is possible that the HT20 will be part of the secret project but shh, don't tell anyone LOL. I hope you have a great week

That muffler looks great on there and it will keep the exhaust fumes and noise out of your face.

Thanks, it makes the tractor much nicer to use but we have a few other jobs before we can give it a full test

A nice job and video. Shouldn't there be a clamp around the muffler and its support? Good Luck, Rick
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks and well spotted. We thought we had a clamp but it turned out to be too small. A replacement is on order. I hope you have a great week and take care

@@GardenTractorBoy I've seen worm drive clamps, like on radiator hoses, used on the mufflers. They don't damage the mufflers. Good Luck, Rick

Hi Joseph, A good modification to the HT20... I am impressed that you can weld, something that I never learned how to do... Do you plan to have a career in engineering after you finish your education or have you something else in mind. Take care Paul,,
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Paul. I have only just started to learn to weld. A number of people have suggested that I go into engineering but I am still looking at all options. I hope you have a great week.

love to do that to my tractor but in a twin pipe um where's the heat shield?
@GardenTractorBoy4 жыл бұрын
The exhaust is not the original one and the original plus the heat shield were long gone before we got the tractor. It would be good to try to make a heat shield for the tractor
