Do you have a product called OSPHO available? It does a great job on rust removal

I just looked and it appears to be available over here. We will keep it in mind when we are going to paint something. Thanks

@@GardenTractorBoy As well as removing rust OSPHO leaves a sacrificial layer similar to a varnish that puts a barrier between metal and primer/finish coats. I am not getting any notifications when you or any other of my subscriptions uploads a video and I am not getting notifications when someone comments on my videos, grrrrrr

@@oologahgardentractorandcha3055 We have used a product called Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 which sounds similar. This was recommended to us by someone that restores cars. I can't believe how unreliable some of these online platforms are and they get away with providing a poor service because you have no way to get through to anyone to flag the problems. No helpful

Hello! That press worked really well for the seat bracket! I suspect you could use that press for splitting wood, but it would be a bit slow lol. I like how the seat turned out with the yellow coming through. It's looking good. Take care

Thanks. We were surprised how easily the seat bracket straightened. I am sure you are right, the press would make a good but slow splitter. We are still struggling to find something we can apply to the seat to protect the paint that will not rub off. Take care

How do you remove and replace the heads?
@GardenTractorBoy
@GardenTractorBoy 4 күн бұрын
To remove you hacksaw it off flush and drill it out. I insert a new head you need to make a tool and the details are on the Thor website under the Resources/downloads drop down. The URL may not display if KZbin removes it, otherwise it is here www.thorhammer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/combined-replacing-faces-and-opening-and-closing-tool.pdf I hope this helps

Hello Joseph. Quite enjoyed the video, especially the press. When I need to bend or straighten something, it usually involves jamming it between two trees and using a big pry bar or a come-along. I like your method way better. All the best, Ben

Joseph I see you fastened the lift lever at the front tight at 17:40 with a bolt and nut, what makes it possible that it can swivel
@GardenTractorBoy
@GardenTractorBoy 10 күн бұрын
The bolt is threaded into the lift lever and the tension on that bolt determines how easy it swivels. We did only put it on until it started to touch. . The nut on the back acts as a lock nut. Take care
