My home track! At 1 point we got 2 races per season. I was without question there, on the inside top entrance to corner 2 by the marshal's station. The infield was Canada's greatest free-standing party, though it took hours to get in and out of the track. Who needed sleep when you could hop camp fires with other aficionados? IMHO the McLaren M8D is the greatest race car ever built.

I believe that Mosport had more Can-Am races than any other circuit. It would be hard to think of a Can-Am series without it.

Me & my film crew picked-up the contract to film/document the Shadow team at that race in '74 for the rest of the season.. GOOD JOB of capturing some of the aspects & cars at that event! (Y)

Me, too. I was there for every major race from 1970-1977. I felt for the guy drying his blue jeans over a campfire. Been there, done that. That infield could get absolutely crazy.
