Another really nice car from MrSlotCar. I really like the new flat design for the guide. I see a lot a good applications for the new guide in future to help keep the line of the car correct. As always, another really good video, thank you!

As soon as I saw this video I paused it went to Slot Car Corner and bought it...thanks for the heads up. My favorite series is CanAm so happy to see another quality car. If I could only pick on car race series it would be CanAm.

Zippideedooda gave me a "heads up" when he saw your video that this car was on its way. No brainer. I got mine, and appreciate the tire alternatives, and the comparison to the other slot cars. Don't think I can do this car justice on my Scalextric track, but it sure is great watching it go round! Thank you Sir.

Your video is right on. I bought one yesterday & it's so easy to operate even for a beginner. Very well planted when driving on M R Slot Car's big track.

The tire marking flake off has been pretty consistent. Noticed same on about 5-6 YT reviews. Otherwise a beauty.

As always, Harry, you 'haul the mail' for when it comes to objectivity in model slot car reviews :) I really appreciate the comparison with the Thunderslot and the NSR Porsche as you have here demonstrated the potential for a whole new 'Can Am' class. Personally, I'd like to see how it times against the Ferrari 330P MP Slot released at the end of last year and really because this is very similar in spec only with the more traditional slot guide mechanism. The new guide blade engineering is, for me, worth the entrance fee alone with this model. I otherwise think you are about 'dialed in' with the stock tires as I suspect that anything too 'sticky' will introduce understeer and cause this thing to deslot. As it is, and looking at other demonstrations too, the car has a tendency to drift which leaves me wondering how well this guide self centres? The lateral turning radius seems about right, mind. Otherwise, the main 'downside' with the new guide appears to me to be an apparent lack of vertical suspension or travel? This will be fine on bowling alley smooth 'wood' circuits such as your own but, I suspect, it won't be fun on buckled old plastic tracks which have seen better days? Still, it's not really designed as an 'entry level' toy now is it?
