The G7T engine dates back to 1965. It was still being used in the KC100, during the 1990's.

FINALLY, found the exact same one as mine. Thanks for uploading this, I had started to think my G7 was one of it's kind, particularly the Tank Graphics and the central engine block that's a bit different at the engine number part from most other G7 motorcycles.

They're quite rare here in Malta too. I think that few early G7s were sold, at least in my country. Not many are put on the web too. Possibly, the later Kawasaki 100 models (with few differences) were more common. Cheers. 🙂

@@oldschoolgrech that's right, these early G7 models (1973-74) had a couple of flaws, like an inefficient weak Aluminum flywheel that was replaced in 75' with a more dense, all metal magneto, the engine block was replaced with one made out of more sturdy material, (The Kawasaki Badge above the engine number was gone in those later models) the gear shift pattern was upgraded from Reverse shift N12345 to Return Shift pattern 1N2345, and probably to signify all these improvements they replaced the graphics on their tank too, getting rid of the stickered "Kawasaki", replaced with a solid emblem.

@@oldschoolgrech haha, honestly, I had no clue what a kwasaki G7 or a KH100 even was, before I got myself this one (my 74 G7) and soon after buying it, the next question was what in the world is this model and why are there no images of this particular model anywhere on the internet, so an extensive research taught me all this stuff.

@@trailblazerstudios haha, yeah, we're in the same boat then. Well, my uncle owned a lovely Kawasaki KH100 till a few years ago so I was already familiar with such a model. However, as you are saying, it is quite difficult to find information about it. And the other videos that I found which may shed some light on them were not in English.😅

Suzuki produced 3 x 100cc road bike models during the mid 1970's: A100 GT100 (had a disc brake). GP100 (press steel frame with GT100 engine, A100 drum brakes).

That GT was a "nonsense",The GT range was the 380,550,and 750 triple two strokes, But instead of making the smaller cc more efficient they simply went for cosmetic surgery adding a "Ram air" on the twin 250cc and naming them GT

The gp100 was available with either disc or drum on the front in the UK. It's main rival was the Yamaha rs100
