This area looked really bad and I was a little confused about where to start from, but it became so much easier once I cut out all the rusted metal.

Thanks for the clarification on that brace. I’m always afraid that when I start putting mine together it will be out of shape. It’s great to know my options before I get there.

I think most people weld in that brace before they lift the body off the chassis to prevent the body from bending in the middle.
