1975 Chevy stepside COMPLETE HVAC system rebuild - Part 8

Part 8 in our Chevy stepside rebuild series is the HVAC system... it needs a lot of work to be put back in operational order. Every part from vacuum switches to plastic parts needs attention. Our goal is to keep it as close to factory as possible, while still remaining within the constraints of our build criteria and budget.

молодец! я тоже недавно занимался ремонтом автомобиля, поменял фару,оказывается когда меняли переднее крыло его закрепили не выравнивая помятые крепления ,я их как надо подогнул и нормально закрепил,рулевая рейка с гуром текла жутко,его поменял на новую хотел отремонтировать поменять сальники но там шток цилиндра оказался не хромированый весь ржавый,и сальники не стандартные,и алюминевый корпус был в задирах ,есть мысль эту старую рулевую рейку поставить на трактор там торсионный золотник весьма хороший

Did you figure out your vent window gaskets?

Not yet. That is on hold until I can reduce some of these piles of parts all over my house and yard. My current plan of attack there is to basically start over. The main issue is the metal glass frames so I have to find some that actually fit properly, and that’s hard to verify before buying. I need to research quality manufacturers on that end, because taking a stab in the dark in that is risking another failure.
