My Dad bought us this bike in 1979. My brother and I rode it into the ground for years. Forks broke off and was in rough shape but the damm thing still ran. Never had a engine issue ever. And the bike was purchased used for us with a lot of miles on it. Honda were king in the 70's.

My first bike was a 1974 TL 125. Got it at 9 years old. My dad got it off his friend for 240$....thsts why he bought it...it was the cheapest thing he could find...I wanted a CR80...but....I got a super super slow 125 four stroke lol. I coildd also see the D.I.D. sticker on both my rims. Wish I still had it!! Mine was silver with blue on the tanks. Still had o.g. side panels and tl125 stickers.

I took this bike everywhere.. it is a fantastic bike. It is light and balanced. Not a fast bike 55mph tops.. it was like a jeep of motocycles. Just fun..

I’ve got a road legal to 125 here in New Zealand only one road reg here also have a tl250 that was a guy down the road when i was a kid saw it come up on a local site and recognised it straight away has a mod tank with a extra hump in the top of tank for extra fuel looking fwd to rebuilding it.🇳🇿

My last dirt bike was a tl 250 My buddy found one as nice as yours and we rode lots of trails together. We found his perfect bike had trouble keeping up with my beater flat black painted one. Then we measured the handlebars and found that someone had cut 1.5" off each side of my handlebars so I could get trough tight spots better

I have to make a correction my tl250 is in fact a 1975...guess I should have read the neck a little better... At 65+ I was rememb ering my 1973 ct70. That one looks mint.

Just got one gave to me its pretty rough but mostly there no spark so have some work to do or barter it off

That's the wrong kick start lever for a TL250,should have a dog leg in it .

I have an opportunity to buy a 1975 Honda TL 250 from a good old friend of mine I’m debating on jumping on it it’s missing its front fender front headlight exhaust shield side covers but it runs strong

Its got the wrong kickstart lever on it a xl250 one
