ഞാനൊക്കെ ഫിലിം kaanumbol🤔ഈ പ്രൊജക്ടർ ആയിരുന്നു. ഇദ്ദേഹം പറയുമ്പോലെ തീയേറ്റർ ന്റെ വെളിയിൽ പൊട്ടിക്കിടക്കുന്ന film കഷ്ണങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.. പിന്നീട് ഒരിക്കൽ എനിക്ക് ഒരു roll film എന്റെ ഫ്രണ്ടിന് കിട്ടിയിട്ട് എനിക്ക് തന്നു. കുറേനാൾ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു. അതൊരു വസന്തകാലമായിരുന്നു. അന്ന് സിനിമ കാണാൻ (തീയേറ്റർ ൽ പ്പോയി ) നല്ല മൂടായിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ 2009 ൽ തൃശൂർ രാഗം തിയേറ്റർ ൽ കാര്യസ്ഥൻ അവസാനമായി കണ്ടു പിന്നെ കല്ല്യാണശേഷം ഇതുവരെ സിനിമ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. പണ്ടൊക്കെ സിനിമ വരുമ്പോൾ മുന്നോടിയായിട്ട് കാറിൽ ലും നടന്നും ചെണ്ടമേളത്തോടെ പരസ്യം നടത്തും, നോട്ടീസ് കൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യും. നസീർ ജയൻ മധു , ബാലൻ k,സോമൻ ഇവരായിരിക്കും നോട്ടിസിൽ നിറഞ്ഞുനിൽക്കുക. ഹാസ്യ നടൻമാർ അടൂർഭാസി, ബഹദൂർ, ആലുംമ്മൂടൻ, പപ്പു, മാള ജഗതി, കുഞ്ചൻ!etc. ഇന്റെ നാട്ടിൽ 3 തിയേറ്റർ ഉകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു സുനിൽ, Royal, ജസീന. എനിക്കും മുമ്പ് തൃചാറ്റുകുളം nss സ്കൂൾ ന് മുമ്പിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നൂ ന്ന്‌ കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പുകൾ കുറേനാൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. Now only the Royal -remaining ! owner- majeedikka (one of the singers ) Also one KC movies.

80കളിൽ തീർന്നില്ല. 2008 വരെ ഇത്തരം ഫിലിം പ്രൊജക്ടറാണ് തിയേറ്ററുകളിൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ആറാം തമ്പുരാൻ, നരസിംഹം, CID മൂസ, രസതന്ത്രം തുടങ്ങിയ സിനിമകളെല്ലാം ഈ പ്രൊജക്റ്ററിലാണ് ആളുകൾ കണ്ടത്.

ഈ വക പ്രൊജക്ടറുകളിൽ ഞാൻ വർക്ക് ചെയ്തീട്ടുണ്ട്. 1986 ൽ ഈ പണി നിർത്തി. 1998 ൽ ലൈസൻസ് പുതുക്കാതെ പോയി. എന്നാലും ഞാനത് സൂക്ഷിച്ചു വച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇടക്കൊക്കെ എടുത്ത് നോക്കാറുണ്ട്.

I have some experience in the technical side of the projectors as I was involved in the designing of an 8mm projector. 70, 35, 16, 8mm and super8 are some of the industry standards. The projector projects the full picture to a screen and stay there for 1/24 second. During this 1/24 second, a shutter will closes and opens the light path, which will make to see the picture staying on the screen for 2x1/48 seconds. During the next cycle of the shutter, when the light path closes the film advances to the next frame. The projector projects one frame 2 times and it moves to the next frame during the third time the shutter blocks light, this is why we do not see any flicker or everything looks natural. This is achieved with a mechanism. called 'escapement mechanism'. The audio is recorded on the side/edge of the film as the audio track as a path of continues light variations. Although the film moves 'frame by frame', there is a loop of film before the sound pickup to run the sound continuous and smooth. I am happy to answer for any more questions.
