I’d definitely go 2.8 and make special, I wish you’d gone to Marsland for the galv chassis, they are incredible quality, a tad more expensive but they’ll also work with you for custom touches. Good Luck…

I have a 2.5 petrol in my series 3, the absolute best in a series! same feel as the ol 2.25, but a lot more power. Please dont bore it to oversize, it is very good as is, mine pulls up steep hills in 4th with the overdrive on, and it is super smooth

Hi, thanks for your comment. It’s good to hear from someone who has a 2.5L in a series. Unfortunately you hear lots of different things about these engines…good and bad. Nice to hear it has plenty of power for a series.
