I loved the 850T I bought new in '75. I was hoping my '22 V7 850 Special would give me the same experience... it doesn't.

Nice little trip! Now I'm going to check your channel and see if you have anything about the Vincent by the curb...

I like that a lot. Whoever put those horrific indicators on should be soundly thrashed however...

I just read a comment about the the turn signals from six years ago and I respond with this: Don't care... I had to look a second time to even see the blinkers. Like my earlier bikes, if they came with them I took them off like I did with my new '75 850T; you know... save all that weight and blinkers were for wussies* --- *Apparently from the warning I got, I can't call them what we actually did back then but it rhymes with wussie and starts with with a "P." Back then real men just used hand signals. Does the younger generation even know how to make a hand signal? Is it even taught any more? - BTW, now I always use my turn signals. Signed: A real (old) man

Same tank as my i convert. Mine is a 1976 by title but it was built in 1975. Quality machine that is built well enough to last a life time. Issues? Yes. An alternator upgrade will fix one of them and a new shifting fork and whatever else is needed to get that i convert dual range trans to shift into those ranges instead of stuck in a false neutral. 3 sets of brake pads. No need for an engine rebuild at 55,000 miles thought

Use of indicators is helpful to car drivers. I know I ride bikes and drive cars.
