Let me clear here one thing, sheikh Abdullah didn't abolish zamindari system /jagairdari system here but it was removed from whole India by nehru in 1951-first five year plan and it was not strictly implemented in rest of India due to pressure from zamindars, but in j&k it was strictly implemented that's why it still is cause of rural inequality and poverty in India and in Kashmir almost everybody has some land and somewhat has imparted equality.

I wish he could be alive today then he would have realised that the Indian leadership and state have ditched him very badly and his whole struggle and narrative got wrong and misguided which resulted in the killings of thousands of Killings in Jammu and Kashmir. We shall never forget the Jammu Muslim killings on November 1947 in which demographic changes happened in the Jammu division. There is only one solution for Jammu and Kashmir which is the right to self-determination according to the agreed UN resolutions both by India 🇮🇳 and Pakistan 🇵🇰 on a majority basis which was also the basic principle of the whole partition of the Indian subcontinent.
