1976 32' CHB Trawler with Bow Thruster!

Thank you for showing this wonderful vessel. Those older Johnson's/ Evinrude were starting machines. Had a very old Evinrude growing up. 10 horse. I worked her hard. She started every time. I can't say that about the Mercury I had 4 horse a a kicker motor. It was hard starting. I had friends who fished for Shrimp with Brand new Mercury 20 horse's. They seemed to get vaper. locks all the time. This is just my experience with the two different older brands. I know people who swear by there Mercury's. My life experience with them have been hard luck story's.

looks like a house on the water. It would take days to get ready to go to sea. And a boat doesn't have shelf area, it has places for thing's to fall from

Nice CHB. Thought these were 34’. We couldn’t find one without rot, and ended up with a Grand Banks 32 woodie with a hydraulic stern thruster.

Awesome little trawler! Love the para-vane stabilizers. A whole lot packed in 32’! Is that at the waterline? I thought these measured 34’? My father-in-law had one almost identical on Lake Ontario/Great Lakes. It had an island double birth for an aft cabin. We’d take it up the Rideau canals/locks in to down town Ottawa on the Ottawa river! We’d have an “apartment “ in the city centre for concerts and festivals. It was just perfect for the lakes and canal systems in southern Ontario. Nice boat!
