Big Difference at 6:28, Charlie Scott turning the ball over. NEVER would be call in today's game.

1:31:05 What is that ref spazzing out over?? He was one step away from moon-walking like Leslie Nielson

38:50 You watch this for historic sports, but who thought you'd actually get the most ironic and perfectly-time commercial in broadcast history 🙃

I know it's totally unfair to judge on one game, but seeing Cowens, Nelson and Silas all stumbling and clanging in near the hoop, it just makes you really appreciate the amazing inside talent of the Big Three later on. Their incredible body control and ability to finish were a step above, and a wonder to behold...

55:50 That's a top choice for worst form ever. He lays a fake on no one, and does it really badly. But he is consistent, takes practice to shoot that poorly 😅

The next season would add Maurice Lucas, Moses, Dr J, Artis Gilmore, David Thompson, the Iceman, Bobby Jones, Dan Issel. Obviously the caliber of NBA play really benefited from the merger...

For NBA players who disrespected the players in the past and think this modern era of basketball is great...You might want to watch this game and see what real intensity is because any of the guys playing right now would have been whining about call because of how physical it is when you go against guys like Cowens, Nate Thurmond, Kareem, Wes Unseld, Paul Silas, Elvin hayes and other players who played in this era of basketball of
