Nothing very interesting has been happening with this car. I cleaned the interior a little, fixed some handles and the front seat, tuned the carb, greased a multitude of things and a friend and I cleared the trunk of rust.

I bought it from a middle-aged musician who reminded me of Jay Leno; real cool, down to earth guy. He was the second owner and apparently purchased it from a little old man. Its been here in Colorado since it was new. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I hadn't been checking this videos comments.

That car has some serious potential to be incredible.

Why don't more people take interest in proper older cars anymore? It's a damned shame. Kid down the street from me thinks his Scion is (and I quote) "Pimp-sh*t". I have more in common with my grandfather than I do my own age group. Good to see the Torino doing more that starting. :D

Hey bud...I owned a Torino for 6 years and LOVED that car!! I see your car loves to be pumped the same way mine did! I have a request. How about posting a "throttle response" video. It would be the same camera angle & distance in this vid from :35 to :41, but you'd be revving it after it was started instead of pumping it before. I always thought those vids were cool. Guys, our cars, and the whole "power thing". Girls like those vids too, but they think they are "sexy"...lol whatevah!

Might be an interesting video. Thanks for the idea man. Just to let you know though, I've still got the stock pipe on this car and it really doesn't sound very good.

Love this car. What's the story with it? Real quiet on the highway aswell. I hope you guys decide to keep it stock, the four-doors of the 70's are getting rare, especially the Intermediates.
