Gorgeous bike¡¡¡ I'm in the process of starting my own cafe racer to, same year and model 1976 GL1000. I got from this guy online and practically I have to start start from zero since it has been sitting for years. Rust has built-up and God knows if it'll start(I doubt lol) it looks really beat up BUT even so I fell I-FELL-IN-LOVE with it once I came across. It was even better when I came to see it in person. It has potential as you already know and that is why I'm willing spend all the time possible. Nice bike man

hello , Congratulations from Germany to your great work. A similar project I plan with 2 double Weber carburettors. My GL 1000 is already completely disassembled. I collect at the moment information about the restoration of a GL 1000 to conversion in to a cafe racer. Some detailed solutions of your machine are incredibly well done. I would be glad if you could give me more details grade to the clean work on the subtleties and at which point it was tricky and how these details were solved so pretty. Degrees to the steps , which one begins what should be done rather new that interests me very much. About Tips and Tricks I would be very happy. With best regards from Germany Andy Maschinelle

D3V026, WICKED JOB BROTHA!!! I like every inch of this custom man. Talk about attention to detail. This i by far one of the nicest custom GL1000's on KZbin.
