I tend to favor replacement, truth is a lot of original manufacturing of toys is bottom-line kind of compromises, as a collector you can make the product better than it was. Like a lot of toy metal rusts regardless of how well you take care of it, I'm still researching the best re-galvanizing options. Sweet restoration, looks awesome. :D I'm a new a MM user and yeah I've seen that two party system attitude pop up lol. I've joined other older than myself communities so I've developed a thick skin for that kind of politics. Won't stop me from doing my unsolicited unpayed Mego innovation projects. ;)

Thanks. I’m pretty pleased with this restoration. They don’t always work out as planned. Lol As far as the MM, the main issue is censorship. You’re not allowed to say anything they don’t like. If you do, they ban you. Hence the rift in the collectors.

I have seen some videos they do and I have to laugh 😆. I love mego grew up playing with them I do have a nice collection. But these guys I really don't know who they are except Marty and Dr mego. But the new mego i have no desire on getting them. Think it's just a fad that will die I see so many up for sale it is insane. They start out high then they go for nothing. I think Marty 🤔 should have left it like it was I wonder if they paid him or he just wanted to make 🤔 a little more money which is fine. But me I will stick to original. I'm a new Mego buyer, like never had them before. Two fold interest, one missed the whole big action figure era, and two the modern action figure has become too complex, delicate, and expensive. The partnerships have not gone well so at least half of the blame goes to Topps and Target ijs. It will be a fad if the company doesn't "coarse correct" but I think they're righting the ship slowly. These deals likely came with funding benefits but also with a lot of bad plans on what figures to make and how to distribute them. :\ The other problem comes from the return of banded figures which was a mistake and only because the toy industry sucks at making them now imo. Like I've tried multiple new Mego style products and they're not very good. The new Mego band-less body is good but they probably should started the revival with that instead.

@@loganjorgensen I just think that everyone is out to make a buck. Which is great but how many times are u going to make a figure and repackage them and selling. They made how many star trek and wolfman + dracula and so on. It's crazy just different packages but same figure. I did buy a new one and also got ones from toy figure company when they started out making the reproduction ones. That went bad two figures arms snapped 😳 just was garbage made bodies. Mego came back got one action jackson from target just was not the same. I looked at my original and said to my self there never going to be the same.

@@fabiocucuzza4737 I hear you, I do think they aren't taking the revival seriously enough, like getting customers beyond the original generation and having Mego continue well into the future. The repetition is a little high, I think they lack ideas for which next figure will make money so they just repeat popular ones. Same here about quality issues, had few problems myself that had me wondering how all these companies intend to stay in business this way. O_o??? If I didn't have research interest into new Mego then I too would likely stop buying them.

I’ve yet to see one of these new bodies. What figures have you seen them on? I knew from day one the Topps thing was going to be a fiasco. I just laugh and laugh at all the complaints people are making now.
