How can I send one to you for repair?

I really don’t do repair work but I get a lot of requests.

Rotate the arms around 360° to put more tension on the loop inside so arms will stay up better & outwards...one or 2 turns should do it...
@Kryptosmaster9 күн бұрын
It’s not constructed that way. They are independently attached and specifically designed to rotate 360 without breaking. I have another possibly better repair in my mind that I may get back to someday.

I would have preferred it not being a “curbside “ kit but yeah, it comes out nice.

4 years late with this comment. I wasn't born yet in the 70s, but I really like the playsets like this. The cardboard wrapped in vinyl is actually a great and probably inexpensive way to make a playset. The only flaw they have is that they aren't the most durable toys. The only 70s playset I have is the star trek bridge because it's the easiest to get and probably the least expensive 70s playset. These toys are ether 50 years old or nearly 50 in 2024, so it's not surprising that it was rare and is getting rarer every year to find them in good condition or even complete.

You’re probably right on the Enterprise being the cheapest one out there. Unfortunately these are also notorious for splitting at the seams and getting moldy if submerged in water.
@1012johnq29 күн бұрын
Hello Sir, do you know how to replace the action figure’s foot?
@Kryptosmaster9 күн бұрын
I have not attempted to do that type of repair on these. Not sure if it’s even possible. Perhaps if you could split the seam on the leg and use a donor foot ?
@yefartz108Ай бұрын
Anybody had a leg disc breakoff? I was thinking about kit bashing a new one on but eh... not too experienced and would have to saw down the area where it meets the hip and match it from scratch sanding gradually til it fit. Damn thing flew and snapped, hitting the floor as I finally pried the nearly impossible to separate torso halves apart!!
@Kryptosmaster9 күн бұрын
Been a long time but I don’t recall the torso being that difficult to separate. Maybe it was?

Wow how old is that Armor flat black spray paint? It looks like something out of the 1960s 😂 Your model came out nice! I have several different releases of this old kit waiting to be built, including this version.
@Kryptosmaster9 күн бұрын
I don’t think it’s that old.lol. Probably from the 80s or 90s. Left over stuff I couldn’t throw out cuz it still works.

Can you scan and post the entire service manual? I bought one of these (red and white) in pieces, and haven't any idea how it goes together. Also, a very light oil made for Hammond Organ tonewheel generators might be better, because it won't "gum up" the works. It can be ordered from Tonewheel General Hospital. Search for it.

Don’t remember exactly and don’t want to give inaccurate information. My extras are currently boxed away. I think I was able to find some at ACE Hardware but that was a long time ago.

I just got the ren yesterday at a garage sale. He originally talked really fast to the point where you couldn’t even understand him. Took him apart, cleaned the voice box, and now he works great! I got a stimpy as well but it’s not a talking one. I guess he’s supposed to fart but the function doesn’t work on mine sadly

My sister had this game. I was too young to understand what was going on so I know I lost all of the time. I remember stirring the cauldron, the tokens which I probably use all wrong and saying the spell like 'I hope so and so eats worms' or some other innocuous threat or wish.

No, those boxes were terrible. They fell apart as soon as you peel off the cellophane. Great kit however.
