This is an impressive kit, and I'm tempted to locate one for a project I have in mind: A customized F-4E was depicted as the Batplane in Alan Rapp's 2014 "Batman '66" #7 comic book. This would be the perfect canvas for such a project which fortunately is in scale with the 1/32 scale (formerly Aurora) Polar Lights Batmobile. I'm sorely tempted . . . .

@@vintagemilitarymodelkits It would be a fun project. Sadly, I have more kits in my stash than I'll ever build, much less space to display them if I did. Even sadder still is that the ideas come fast and furious, and I can't build them all. Still, if I manage to come across the 1/32nd Revell F-4E at a swap meet for a reasonable price . . . .

This kit is memorable for me. My dad bought it in 1977 when he was training with F-4e in USAF airbase. In 1986, the kit was made with USAF vietnam war livery. But over time, it was damaged and fractured. It was a complete and very detailed kit in its time. Pilots, bombs of MK series, Pylon bombs, Sparrow and Sidewinder missiles, radar remove able nose... But with the arrival of kits and plastic injection techniques, today it seems a bit simple. It's been about a year since I dismantled this kit and I'm making changes to it. Including changing the canopy and turning the panel lines into scracht lines and adding photo-H to it, of course, it is the new livery of IRIAF. This kit is now 48 years old and I try to keep it alive like the Phantoms memory.
