The battery design and brand was theirs and still exists today, like Craftsman Tools and Kennmore Appliances. They had their own tires too, of course, it was all contract manufactured, it was their model. Kennmore was made by Maytag. Not sure on the Batteries? It could have been a number of Battery manufacturing companies, not just one. Many smaller Battery companies existed back in the day.
