My neighbor had a 77 Buick with the 3.8 v6, and he was getting great gas mileage with it. It wasn't a hot rod, but had plenty of power for normal use. I see what appears to be a 56 or 57 Oldsmobile sitting there. That is one of my favorite mid 50's cars of all time. Thanks for the look Jeff !

I'll try to remember to check out that Olds since a couple of you have asked.

Hey Jeff I forgot about these Buick models because you don’t see many of them. This is a nice example too.Always love the colonnade styling of this era,was very popular and a money maker for GM.Decent car, decent price.I had a 73 Regal and the body style and instrument panel was similar to this car. Thanks Jeff!.😎

Glad you like it. It reminds me a lot of my '73 Chevelle. Thanks for taking a look!

Special was the one name that made a surprising comeback. The last time they used this name was 1969!

I remember 🥰 Would jurk that v6 out drop a stroked 350 in it and freak out the first time you had to hit the brakes hard. Those were the days. ✨️👍🏁

I'm with you, I'd have to swap a V8 in it.

The front end kinda looks like a delta 88. Solid car for the year. Put a good exhaust on it and run it . Small motor for such a big land yacht.👌✌

If I bought it, I'd have to swap a V8 in it.

Looks similar to a 78 Buick LeSabre I started driving when I first got my license. Very comfortable and quiet cars.

Thanks for the video, always enjoyable. I have a 77 Cutlass that I have owned since 79 or 80. Kind of a hotrod now with built motor, trans, and rear. Some lines in the body have a similarity. I see what I think is a 57 Olds off to the side on this video, have you done a video on that? Again thanks, love your stuff!

Thanks for watching Steve, I appreciate it. I don't think I've shot a video of that Olds yet, but I'll keep it in mind.

Never seen this model before, cool car 3,8 v6 gives Nice performance, and the price so cheap, so Can give this car a real going over and it would be perfect, like the colour 😎 cool car thanks jeff and Jordan for this video i enjoy every moment ✌️ ✌️ your friend tom now and always 🤩 🤩, PS how is the gto project going and your studebaker and Erikas firebird, New big Block v8 in it say hello to All
@RamblinAround2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking it out Tom. We had some issues with the transmission on the GTO, but I think we have it fixed now. We'll probably post another video of it soon. No change with my Studebaker really. I got it out the other day and cleaned it up. Jordan and I took it for a short spin around town, but I really need to replace the transmission in it. Jordan and Erika have been working on her Firebird. They put a new intake manifold and carburetor on it. Now, we just need to drop in a new distributor and it'll be up and running again. We'll have videos on everything coming up. Lately, we've been putting a lot of time into getting a house ready to sell. Things will eventually get back to normal.

@@RamblinAround thanks jeff for your feedback, and getting the house ready for sale, houses where we Are expencive, our house is 120 square meters, 4 rooms, could sell it for about 400,000 💵 dollars thanks jeff and Jordan 😊 😊 from tom your friend always 🤩

@@tombankwel4822 Yes, that is quite expensive per square meter. You can get a much larger home here for that amount.

Do you take video requests? I've been watching your channel for a while now, and I love the vids you make from this place and showing all the cars. I seen in their inventory that they have a 1956 Lincoln Premiere coupe in island coral color that I'd like to see, and also a 1958 Lincoln Premiere sedan in sunset beige color too.

I can't make any promises, but I will try to keep that Lincoln in mind.

Yeah, of course you would think that... Do you even know your cars? The mid-'70s (Chrysler) Magnum/Cordoba/Charger platform was _NOT_ related to GM. BUT it was inspired by, and COPYING, and MODELING after the A-body (GM) platform (the 1973-'77 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Pontiac Grand Prix, Oldsmobile Cutlass, and the beautiful Buick Regal), not to mention their variations (the Pontiac LeMans/Grand Am, Chevy Chevelle/Malibu, Olds Hurst, Buick Century/Special). CLEARLY the GM A-body platform was (by FAR) an influence and inspiration to outside automakers...
