Sure the Ecu can compensate for low boost but my transmission and rear wouldn’t hold long. Nor do I have the room to boost it without heavy modifications. That’s where the expense part comes in. I can barely fit my radiator hose, I don’t think I could shove a intercooler in there 😅

@ I’m using a r150 out of a Tacoma behind my supercharged 1uz. I had a 4x4 one from a wrecked truck. Ended up cutting the front drive off the transfer case and welding it up and added some marlin crawler strong parts. Now I have low range in my sc400. If you watch my interview with Larry Chen, over a year ago when he was in Hawaii, you will see everything I do is on a budget and with what I can get my hands on. R150’s a good transmission to handle some boost. I’ve also come up with a way to have hidden twin turbos with a water to air inner cooler without losing any accessories.

I bet you were riding Sarah’s sausage when you wrote your comment. While Sarah’s build is in-depth, the fact is she had no idea how Toyota would’ve built it, she was only guessing and is very likely wrong. That being said, it doesn’t diminish Sarah’s choices, but the reality is she built it how she wanted it just like Emilee did. And for what it’s worth, I would’ve much rather watched Emilee build her Celica than Sarah. Sarah’s quirkiness is off-putting, and I’m still unsure whether it’s her genuine personality or she adopted an affectation to try to appeal to others. Also, Emilee seems to be more genuine and personable. And while I dislike tattoos, which both have, Emilee is undoubtedly the more attractive of the two. Lastly, Sarah is a female veteran, she’s probably been tuned-up more than both of their cars. As soldiers say, it’s probably like throwing a hotdog down a hallway.
