The Kings were becoming respectable with Marcel Dionne, but, they still had to wait another 35 years before hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup.

Kings fan since 1975 here, that great team back in the 70s also featured future Hall Of Famers like Rogie Vachon as well as Marcel Dionne, my mom, dad, and I had season tickets from 1977-1987 at The Fabulous Forum, and moved to Port Townsend, WA in July 1987, and I am STILL a Kings fan to this very day. And yes, getting to the subject matter at hand, I used to watch Hollywood Squares whenever I was either sick from school or during Summer vacation, THIS was a great era for game shows on TV, look at what we have to watch now, watered-down versions of The Price Is Right and Family Feud as opposed to the good-old days when Bob Barker and Richard Dawson were hosting them back around 1977.

Also, Farrah Fawcett was THE Poster Girl back in 1977 and since then Cindy Margolis has run away with the title, millions of downloads later!!! Cindy Margolis was on the Tom Bergeron-hosted version of Hollywood Squares (1998-99 season), the same time that Whoopi Goldberg was on....... and to just think, that I attended high school with Cindy (and she was one of my homeroom classmates) at The Notorious Erik And Joan Erikson Center For Adolescent Advancement & High School in Tarzana, CA back in 1983-84, Cindy graduated in February 1984 and I did in June 1984, both of us were even on the Honor Roll!!! :)

Love the old classic Hollywood Squares but I don't like this version where they show the contestant arriving and leaving. And the opening of the card is dumb too. But at least it's still way better than the Whoopi Goldberg version.
