हमेशा की तरह बेहतरीन एपिसोड.....राकेश जी ! 👌👌👌👌 मुझे ये कहते हुए बड़ा अजीब लग रहा है कि मुझे 'किनारा' फ़िल्म कुछ खास पसंद नही आई थी, सिवाय इसके classic songs के ! हालांकि गुलज़ार की फिल्मों का मैं die-hard प्रशंसक हूँ ! मुझे इन सबमें सबसे ज्यादा 'स्वामी' पसंद है, दूसरी 'प्रियतमा' ! मगर 'स्वामी' की script, इसके गाने, इसका निर्देशन आदि, हर पहलू बेमिसाल था ! इतने simple तरीके से इतनी बेहतरीन फ़िल्म केवल बासु चटर्जी ही बना सकते थे ! इसी की कॉपी थी अक्षय कुमार और सुनील शेट्टी की 'धड़कन' ! जो बेशक सफल रही हो, मगर इतनी बकवास थी कि जैसे कहानी की सादगी और उसकी soul का इसने गला घोंट दिया हो ! ये मेरी व्यक्तिगत राय है, कोई इसका बुरा न माने ! इस वेहतरीन एपिसोड के लिए आपको बहुत-बहुत बधाई....💐💐👍👍

Out of these films my favorites are: 'Swami' with beautiful story and evergreen songs. I still remember the lush greenery picturized in this film. Then, "Priyatma" Neetu Singh and Jeetendra were so good in it. I still remember Asha Sachdeva's wonderful acting and Rakesh Roshan looking very good. And "Kinara" was another good film.

Great information rakesh bhai! As always great research as we see in your videos. It's great to see films like kinara anand ashram and swami in the list even thought it was the era of masala films and multistarrer action films. Anand ashram may not be as big as amanush but was an underrated good film. I just love the song saara pyar tumhara. Kinaara was another masterpiece for Gulzar after Mausam and the trio of gulzar jeetendra and hema malini after khushboo. Chaila babu was a brilliant suspense thriller. So were chalta purza and maha badmaash. Now eagerly waiting for next 2 episodes. 👍👍

Among movies Swami is my favorite...the budget was low..but the screenplay was wonderfully paced..it has its heart at the right place with such sweet songs spread across...I am very happy that it did business that was almost double the budget .Next favorite was Kinara..the songs were truly classy...i still feel Dr.Lagoo's part helped this movie gain some speed and feel good factor...next was Priyatama..happy that audience of that time chose the best to be at top 3 of this episode...Rakesh ji..your research is commendable...i finally get to know about bollywood history that was before my time.
