That looked like a Douglas county Georgia license plate. Can't say I'd be traipsing around in that brush. Regardless, great car. Closest I'll come to owning one is my Matchbox version.

I really do like this car, and being a rare car is cool, so I guess it would have to be how costly the parts are and how good a person's welding skills can tackle the rear windows.

That is odd to have the rust there. I can't believe how good the spare tire well is. Almost every wagon is rotted out

Hey the back end of that wagon is the same as the backend in my wagon and it's the same body style all the way up play the fenders and possibly just front nose piece being different. I've let mine set for 40 years. Mine didn't rust out like that. Difference in the soil because we have plenty of humidity af certain times of the year. I put it up on my channel probably four months ago maybe. It's a copper's bronze color. Parts from an LTD might work better than a front clip from a Thunderbird as far as alignment. Now they made four-door Thunderbird during early maybe mid-70s. But where the doors be the same as that station? How about doors from an LTD 4 door sedan? I only throw these ideas up because any station wagon seems to be worth a lot of money compared to a four-door in similar condition. By the way my car came with a 302 and it broke a ring so I disassemble that engine. Grease it and wrapped in plastic and put it in a wooden crate. I always thought my 302 is a sorry small engine for that bigger car and a 351 would be better. Answer for 26 out of police crown Vic would be great for this car. Not too expensive either. Nope I'm not a buyer for your Mercury wagon but maybe somebody reads my ideas 💡 and it may encourage them. Now I really like this episode. I like it when you recovered your Sunbird. Rattlesnakes I run across have a high almost hissing sound with their Rattlers. Almost sound like bees. A lot of bees. I agree with Indiana Jones. Just had to be why not anything else but snakes.

@@flatbrokegarage everybody seems to be the same at 3 scum back to 1971. Then after that there's a major change tail light lens shape getting with 1970. Mercury cougars and Thunderbirds during that time or sister cars. I would think that the door would be the biggest item excluding rust. Eyeball look believe me to bet almost that the cougar and Thunderbird fenders are the same. But then I don't even buy lottery tickets. So if that's a 2-door Thunderbird you got your fender most likely. Along with in the mechanical hearts and A arm. Unless it's a four-door Thunderbird if you're not sure they made him that year. LCD for doors. Villager monarch colony Park. Different names for the same Mercury wagon and shared with the Ford. Different crowd clips are at least three noses different. Okay search. I'm going to send you a KZbin for a 1977 Mercury villager station wagon in the junkyard from 2020. This guy was making a big deal out of it being a station wagon and he's really into the mercies of that year. Yeah I like station wagon. You got excited over this particular wagon. So I like to throw some information your way. I'm sure the car isn't there three years later but it shows how straight it was. He might be a buyer for your car.

Body panels are not going to be the same as an LTD. An LTD II maybe, but not an LTD. Different car entirely, just like this is a different car than a Colony Park. It's a nice car, I hope whomever gets it next doesn't demo derby it. Appears to be pretty good structurally, little body rot stuff is nothing compared to complete frame failure. This is the first video I've seen from this channel, surprised I never saw the car for sale. I live over in east Alabama, noticed the Georgia tag.
