My favorite year. You don't see many like this and bucket seats too. I would love to have one this nice. Many of those clocks didn't run when they were new. I miss the pillow ride of these cars

As I remember it, most Grand Prixs came with buckets and console.

There is an easy clock repair kit available. Toughest part is removing dash without doing any damage . I've done about 5 so far...I charge $125, kit sells for $39, takes about an hour or so

Actually with the SJ you got full instrumentation, a center console, and it came with the 400. It was actually a step up from the LJ. I LOVE THIS CAR!! So awesome with the white seats and black dash! The white half vinyl top over red looks fantastic! And it has the Rallye II wheels and the 400!! Awesome!

I haven't seen a white interior since I was 6 yrs old I love the seatbelt buzzer it reminds me of my father's monte Carlo when you crank the engine up great memories

Model J SJ then the LJ. The LJ was the top of the line having spent from 1971 to 1979 working at Pontiac dealerships in Ft Lauderdale Lt House Pt and Hollywood Florida
