I was only 7 years old and lived in Jackson heights Queens. I was terrified and so was my mom. We spent that night during the blackout sitting by the window of our six story apartment, talking about the son of Sam and listening to 1010 wins. You give us 22 minutes we'll give you the world. Today I discovered that when I first watched this video a few years ago, I never realised the kid in the scene at 48:40 with the white vest and arm around the girl ("I want the red light to be on") was called Billy Bright... his life took a dark turn and ended up as part of a murderous mafia crew, later got killed in jail himself. The main guy in the crew was notorious for sadistic killings, even worse than Berkowitz!
@stephenfox8685 Жыл бұрын
Spike Lee, who directed his 1999 film of the same name, got it from this. PS to anyone who sees that, its not actually about the case directly. It's about a circle of friends in the Bronx, and how their lives are affected and torn apart over the fear of the killer. Pretty good, if you know what to expect.

I like how New Yorkers use to talk, is it me? Or have New Yorkers lost their accents? And Character? Oh hell what do I know.

I still have mine. And it's still there, it's just more deeper in the neighborhoods than it is in the city. Many different ppl move to NY as many New Yorkers move out.

Everyone who claimed to have seen Berkowitz said he didn't have dark hair. Some even said he had light hair.. But his hair looks about as dark as it gets, sort of being black. Kinda strange that so many people would have gotten that wrong.

There was multiple shooters. There was a satanic cult who decided to carry out shootings. They were sacrificing German shepards all around Yonkers by the aqueduct. Check out Manny Grossman channel on KZbin.
