@7:55 did the interviewer imply that Yoko was on methadone?

This is the 10-1-86 Q interview from The Paul McCartney Project site? (I wonder why the person who posted this video won't respond to comments.)

This is the most candid I've heard McCartney

Very open and insightful- both regarding the subject matter and Paul himself. He is eager to please and wants to be appreciated- and nothing wrong with that! Perhaps not laid back enough for the late swinging sixties - arguably more mature and ahead of his time.

Had the feeling John's spirit was causing the car horns and alarms. Paul being very open and flowing here, one of the best interviews I've heard. I've seen the Santa Monica photos from 1974 with him and John on the sun loungers many times, and here learned it was that occasion he did his marriage guidance.

If you weren’t around in 1970 and 1971 you may not be aware that, in reality, Paul was being hit with a lot of negative stuff for supposedly breaking up the band when it was actually John. Now, what a lot of knew at that time, Macca was back in creative full force with Ram, and Red Rose and peaking with Band On the Run.

This isn't 25th March 1978....🤔

They discuss John's death, so it's probably not 1978 03 25 Unless time travel

Q Interview. 1986. Not 1978.

You're right. @7:55 does the interviewer ask "she (Yoko) was still on methadone?" Or did I hear that wrong?

Are you certain this is the correct date of the interview? If not, are you able to edit the title? He seems to mention Sean Penn at 3:00. If so, 1978 would be the very start of Penn's career, and he wouldn't have been widely known.

At 6:34, he says, "He's my buddy, I don't want to do anything to hurt him, or his memory". This proves it was after 1980. I think it's from October 1986

So, interesting. Thank you. The truth always has a way of rising to the top one way or another. There is always a crystal clear ring like a church bell. Close our eyes. Listen.

So basically we learn that Paul didn't reject the Get Back album mixed by Glyn Johns, since he said here that he likes it and find it very hip. Probably the other three Beatles rejected it. Glad that now this version of the album is out.

He’s frequently cursing in this one. Very interesting - sometimes he almost seems to snap and sound like John.

Paul is still looking at everything from his point of view here and should have consulted with the others regarding the announcement of the Beatles split up. Paul is always trying to justify himself in Everything he says. They also mention live aid on here so it's after 85
