McCrary TD catch was with 1 foot in bounds! But turnabout is fair play! In week 2 the holly roller play was a pass by Stabler and should have been incomplete pass! Now the Chargers won on what should have been incomplete pass! However in this game. The Chargers still had time to get a TD if this McCrary TD had been called incomplete!

Crazy how John Jefferson reached 1,000 yards and 13 touchdown mostly all in the 2nd half of the season. They didn't have 10-20 off-season mini camps back then to get rookies up to speed.

JJ was always my favorite. Saw him play in High School and at ASU. My Mom called the High School office to get me out of class to tell me he was traded to the Pack. Still can't stand Howard Slusher to this day!

This was the follow up to the Holy Roller Game. I thought it was over when Lester Hayes celebrated a would be fourth down stop after supposedly listening to the refs conversation, I thought it was over...Then we found out he evidently doesn't understand english, The call was for defensive PI, and the Chargers retained the ball and would Score soon thereafter with MCCrary....this was payback for the BS holy Roller- so glad we got them back that same season and at their place.
