Back when trucks were made to work in and didn't have heated leather seats, nav systems, drop down monitor screens, and didn't cost more than a BMW or Mercedes. It's insane how much trucks cost now.

The extra switch is in line with the heater switch because on these trucks you can never completely turn the heater off ...which in the summer would be good thing

If you ever need to take off some of that road tar/gunk, gasoline on a rag cuts through it like butter. Wash the gas off afterwards, though. Do a pre-rinse, then gas on the gunk, then final car wash. Then, buffing compound will bring the paint back to new.

the reason for the heater switch is on most of these trucks the blower doesn't go all the way off. it will run real slow even in the off position. the switch makes it nice to turn it all the way off on a hot day.
