Love the channel. I have a 77 Johnson 35 HP with a tiller handle off a Johnson 25, mid section and lower unit off an Evinrude 35. Electric start works fantastic and it will idle all day. Your videos have been extremely helpful.

gday mate ive followed you for a while now , here in aus parts are hard to come by for older engines especially eveinrude and johnston motors you do a great job showing what you do and what can be done even with the bloopers , keep doing what your doing many people will appreciate it who are restoring or even got some of the engines you work on when they have a problem great video take care .

My 25 hp Johnson came with a 9x10 prop new. I now run a 9.25x11. Performs great. Hope that helps you.

I put a lawn and garden style fuel pump on my evinrude 15hp. I wasnt a fan f the multi layer diaphram pump. Usually you can find those style at and lawn and garden store and sometimes the big box stores. They only run about 17.00

Thanks for the Sunday video. It’s my opinion that when the Chinese corporate spy was copying out the Evinrude carb kit parts, they either guessed wrong on the thread size or wrote it down wrong. Now they have 50,000 kits with the wrong one and don’t care to fix it.

I've got a 1977 35hp Johnson electric start and 1981 Evinrude pull start. The Evinrude goes harder but electric start is far easier

Have that engine strong😢 Fkers I use mine twice a week from Miami to the keys for about 5 years.. mines a 35953A also that's good compression for this model mines at 125 on both I suspect with a electric start and warm it will be higher than 110 I So have a seahorse. 69 25 hp I'm looking for a starter bracket for that one I'm so tired of tennis elbow lol

The pull start can get ya for sure, ended up in insta care last week for that same thing, broke my own rule, shouldn't pull and engine 50 times like I did, thanks for watching

I enjoyed this video. That is not from a Sierra kit, because the seats actually work from Sierra. Your aftermarket kit is from the famous tin foil package, indicating that it is from China and none of those seats from those kits work properly. The rubber gaskets stretch out too much as well. In addition, instead of the kits having two plastic washers for the carb jets, metal washers are supplied instead.

I don't use ethanol on any of my small engines including my I/O boats, I use Amsoil two stroke oil only made for outboards, thanks for watching
