I now own a '68 F model too. Much shorter wheelbase than yours with 44,000 lbs camelback. Are you on F Model Macks on Facebook? All the best Roland

Despite the wheel base, she still rides rough. We are considering mounting a flatbed. Then I would be able to haul my father's B-Model; the weight should hold it down.
