Love it. Glad for the update. Wouldn't it have been easier to make a cardboard template for the walls?

I have a 77 renell 24 foot it has a 235 V-8 in it I know you put the V-6 in Herbert eye would wondering how that motor control that larger boat or does he do a good job I want to know because I have a chance to pick one up with the outdrive and I replace the whole thing in my boat could you please let me know how good that engine works in Herbert thank you

I have the high-output 4barrel Vortec V6 making 210 Horsepower. A Mercury 235 V8 made in the 1970's looks like it made 190 HP. So my V6 probably can outperform a V8 from the '70's on the same boat. With a 19 pitch prop, the 4.3L V6 can push Herbert to a top speed of 32MPH empty and cruise around 22 MPH. I have had 10 people on the boat and it still got up and cruised at 19-20 mph.

Next time try cutting a cardboard pattern piece to get it started. It's easier to manage.
