Liked seeing how this played with the new board. I picked up a non working system 1 Incredible Hulk a month ago. Followed pinwiki and pinrepair instructions on grounds, fuses and a cap on the power supply after I got it to boot. All now seems good except the CPU so ordered one, now waiting for delivery! I like the solid pop bumpers and drop targets of these. Thanks for the video. Those paired flippers are a challenge!

That Hulk game is so cool, we're about to film a bunch of videos on The Amazing Spiderman pretty soon that we just got in :)

Did you get er running well? I need to get a CPU I think for mine. Is that the game card? cartridge? Or do they just call it CPU? May I ask where you ordered yours from?

old video - new subscriber, I stepped thru the video at 10:08 and to the right of the "600" number on the bonus ladder shows copyright and I think it has 1978 on it. It's kind of blurry, but also looks like 1878. Could that be when Gottlieb was founded?
@LyonsArcade2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Bill! Gottlieb was founded a long time before that believe it or not, 1978 was just the copyright for this particular game and it's artwork. Gottlieb was started by a young genius designer named David Gottlieb way back in 1927! He designed tons of games and they invented some of the things you think about when you see pinball machines, like for instance the Gottlieb company invented the flipper!

Ive owned a Sinbad for over 20ys. Still have it, and still love it. I think the secret to sinbad is backhands. Once you master that, you can own those targets. Having said that, after all these years I still cant help myself and sometimes loose a ball between the flippers!

Nothing like a good backhand shot on a pinball machine, I love 'em.

Your killing me in this one. "I forgot the skill shot... look out for the flipper hole!!" I was thinking "4 flippers hell yea!", but you soon see the flipper hole gets you as much as the out lanes. Great pin :)

Yeah I really liked all the Gottlieb stuff around this time period. I'm a big fan.

I just picked up a 1973 High Hand. You would love this thing. Has some kind of issues scoring. I'm watching your whole Gottlieb series in case you fixed something similar. Great videos. You guy come across the coolest stuff. If I ever get down your way from KY I will pop in to see what you guys have layin around. :)

I played this game back in the day, I also played it at a bar in 1991, but I do not recall the skill shot or the ball saver on the game.
@LyonsArcade8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they added that onto the new gameboard, you would have been playing on the original board with no skill shot or no ball save.

Wow! This was my favorite game as a kid, and just about everybody else in the neighborhood. The corner candy store always had two pinball machines at a time and this game always came back in one form or another. We played the EM, the SS, Eye of the Tiger and even an SS Sinbad that had the chime box replaced with an early sound board. The electronic zaps and beeps felt out of place on the machine, but it was still fun to play the game once again. There were also many other classic pins at this spot and numerous other places with one or two machines within blocks of each other. As it now stands, I haven't been ale to locate a single pin to play anywhere for miles for at least the past five years. What a shame.

Yeah they're drying up! Some of the newer ones are floating around in a few spots, and there's some 'barcades' that have a good pinball selection but I'm not sure near you.

How did you make the lights rotate like that in standby mode. That is really neat. I have a Sinbad System 1 I just got and have it almost working perfectly. I would love my lights to do what yours do.
@LyonsArcade8 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike; The attract mode lights are only because there's a brand new reproduction game board in it, the original boards don't have that ability unfortunately. You can get one at www.Ni-Wumpf.com

@@LyonsArcade Would that be called the CPU then? I need to order one for my sinbad as well.
@ImaDAD8 жыл бұрын
Love this game. Seems rather simple but a lot is going on.The 2 player version was called Eye of the Tiger. Sinbad is the 4 player version. based on the movie Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977) kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5rGeXumf8-igMk. Drop targets are color coded to play field lights so Reds will light Red Special, Purples will light Purple Extra Ball etc. etc. I'm always looking for a Sinbad for my collection. Countdown and Sinbad both are great target games but of the 2. I think Sinbad is the better System 1 game. Another cool system 1 game is HULK. It uses the slingshots and turns them into kickers/launchers. I own a Hulk. It can bee seen in a few videos with me playing a game or 2 at the end. I could tell you had another board in it. the old system 1 games do not have atrarct or flashing light modes, Lights are on or off.

We've got a few more System 1 videos coming up, a Count Down, and a Buck Rogers!
