An offroading video of that awesome little thing will follow up later... This thing is just fantastic and made me understand why offroading is fun and people like it! My very time doing serious offroading was with this little thing and it made me love it!

I had one in Abu Dhabi in 1976. It was superb. I even hooked it up to a Range Rover that could not get his boar out of the water. my Suzuki and I got them both out. The Range Rover was reluctant, however there was no other help around. He was gutted!

I had a Suzuki Brute in San Diego, CA in 1974, smaller engine but the gearing was amazing. I would follow dirt bikes up trails. 4WD low in reverse was 5:1 gear ratio and only 1400lbs GVW, never got stuck. Airborne jumps at 30 mph. Really fun vehicle to drive. Got stopped by a bunch of Hells Angels MC just to see what it was.

Such a basic truck.I love it.I had an SJ in the 80s but that would be considered quite luxury compared to this i guess.I'd love to have a drive in it

Haha. On reconnait bien l'accent de chez nous. My brother in law has the same one from 1977 but with LJ80 engine. It is coming originally from Indonesian Army (he is indonesian). In 2008 he made a paint job in light green/lemon green metallic, changed some parts on body shop since it was not really in mint condition, and he put rims and wheels from a 1989 Jeep Cherokee XJ on it. I'm not into customization but it looks pretty good.
