This was pretty cool to see all these cards. Everything from Jaws, close encounters of the 3rd kind! Also you bringing up Devils Tower! My wife has heard that theory as well that those are petrified tree stumps. Crazy to think about but fun at the same time. Lots of fun cards. Enjoyed and thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks Steve! I always believe true life is crazier than fiction so I'm always listening to historical theories. I'm glad you liked the video, if your wife watched as well that's all the better! It really does look like a tree stump or maybe an old volcano... Have a great New Year, Steve!

Cool stuff! I always enjoy learning more about non sport cards, especially the “RC”. Congrats on all the Spielberg. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Joe! It was fun to rip packs, especially vintage and seeing those 70's cards pack-fresh... I have to be very strategic what I buy these days, I can't afford to gamble much. I usually don't keep much of the non-sport stuff but it's a blast to research, buy raw or open and grade. The non-sport card market is taking off now that people are realizing their favorite celebs have cards too. It's been fun grading and selling them when it makes sense financially. Thanks for the watch!

Hi Ben! It was cool seeing you rip these old packs. Congrats on the Spielberg rookies. Also, I like the Thanos rookies you picked up, my friend!

I guess it is a Thanos rookie ha! Thanks for tuning in Rob, I definitely beat the odds and those last packs before the camera quit were loaded! These should all grade very well, I may keep one. Take care Rob and God Bless!

These are pretty fun. I like the non-sports cards for TTMing. I haven't Close Enounters since I was a kid.
@blixcards19 күн бұрын
Good idea! I've never thought about TTM until recently watching you guys and a few others. I always felt like I'll just buy so-and-so's autograph but with actors/celebrities? Now that's intriguing with far fewer pack-pulled options or sometimes none at all! Thanks for watching, for the support at the advent and for a cool idea! Have a great New Year, sir!

That's a lot of packs. I want to get some of the Jaws and Threes Company packs. Happy Holidays!

Dang bro, I apologize I just had to re-subscribe! I have done that a few times without trying - including Graig @MidLife and Mangini's channels this year. So sorry for that my man. I always enjoy your content but hadn't seen any videos lately - so now I know why anyway. Somebody on eBay had the Three's Company packs very recently for cheap - may have been in a lot actually. Those Jaws packs shouldn't be much at all either. Thanks for watching buddy and have a great New Year!

Wow, some great nom sport packs! Love all of those sets! Hey I wasn’t able to type back in the chat last night, what was that awesome 1980 minor league stache card you mentioned? I need to check on it for the set! Fun openings! I need to find a few of those packs for my unopened non sport pack box. Congrats on 200!

Oh I get it bro, you guys were slammed and rocking in real-time either way! I think Shane may have sent you one or you showed it on the Advent special - but I was referring to the 1980 TCMA Don Buchheister... I feel like Richard Foronjy was potentially inspired by Buchheister for his Pete Amadesso role haha... Only joking obviously but as soon as I saw that card I immediately thought of Carlito's Way! Thanks Macc, I owe much of that to you my man!

@ Haha! Yes! Bucky Buchheister! I showed it on the advent for my Franken Stache set. Lol. What is really funny about that is one of my trainers at BGSU was a trainer on that team and actually has a card! I sent him a pic of Bucky and he said that he was awesome! Said everyone in town knew him and they went out to eat after every home game . Mike Messaros is the trainer and I see him all the time here in town. I gotta dive into that team set more and see what other stories Mike has for me!

@@macwaxxstacks That is awesome! I knew you played but wasn't sure where. Old Bucky! That's exactly right, the Franken Stache addition it was on the advent show! He totally looks like that type of fella, kind of reminds me of Dan Giordano a little bit with the knowing everybody aspect. Sounds like a cool guy... Ha, I just looked up the Messaros, far out! There's a copy on COMC right now actually. Can't wait to see what you dig up my man!
