Personally i like the 280zx more than the 240z 260z and 280z not saying there ugly i still think that they are beautiful cars but I like how the s130s are a bit wider and a little more blocky than the S30s

When you took out the rear springs, did you happen to measure them? I'm looking to replace my rear springs, but not sure what the OD would be.

I had measured them but unfortunately I didn't write down my measurements. I believe the diameter of the rear springs were pretty close to if not 4 inches.

Have 79 2+2 restoring and also upgrading susp. also. Are your frame rails shot like mine? and do you know where to get some? May have to fabricate. Thanks

My rails are a bit dented up in the front, but luckily they have not rotted out. I think some floor pan kits come with front rails, but honestly if you have some frame left a decent body shop shouldn't have much of an issue replacing a section or two. They are just 3 flat pieces of steel welded together after all.
