1979 Bally Space Invaders Pinball Machine

Space Invaders has to have the best backglass in the word fantastic effect with the endless mirror lighting. Great retro sounds and the widest wide-body going. This won't be around long, its just keeping the space warm for my Nitro Ground Shaker!

One of my favorites of all time. That u-turn kept my quarter going for hours and or till the arcade attendant/mgr or owner would throw me out. lol If you can catch the ball you can master the u-turn. Heck you can master any pinball machine if you can catch the ball.

Saw this at a pinball museum in Gatlinburg. Got like 2 or 3 plays in it. Not one of my most favorite tables, but a pretty unique one nonetheless. Only problem with it is how much I suck at the game much like all other tables I played in general.

This was the best pinball machine BALLY'S ever built or anybody ever made fr that fact.I used to put a few quarters in the machine when I was 14 (1980)ANDY'S ISLE OF FUN JERRYCOY'S SKATE ISLAND GRAND ISLAND,NE,and play the game everyday after school for several hours.I would give free replay games to the kids as I would rack up the game to 40 credits,which was the highest it would go.JERRY ANDERSON now in his 80"S would try to fix the machine so I couldn't beat it and failed.My highest score was countering the game to APPROX. 14 MILLION PTS.I would love to have one of these new refurbished gems!

I have one in my basement in very good working condition. You have terrific snap to your solenoids everywhere; I'm still running with original solenoids in the pop bumpers and drop targets and slingshots. I suppose upgrading them would juice it up!

I spent my time at college playing that. It was disappointing the player in this video didn't manage to hit the 50,000 button. I so wish i could find, or buy one to play on.

Cloverleaf Lanes in Kingston in the 80's. Best pinball game of all time. Hundreds of hours spent on this one. Good times.

It was a great pinball, both to look at, and visually. But actually playing it, the gameplay is hindered by the flipper layout. It was always a tough game.

I used to dream about this dang pinball machine... especially that u-turn in the center. I think you got a special if you made it in that u-turn 4 or 5 times.

Don't think I've ever done that! I just got a Swords of Fury that has a cool loop in, its a fixer upper though :-)

It feels great to finally hear somebody else in the world spent lots of quarters on this mesmerizing machine. It was a very sad day when the Jubilee Pool Hall in Burnaby, BC exchanged that machine for some other beast. Just watching this video seemed to transport back to the good old pinball, pool hall daze.thanks guys 👍

The problem I have with this machine, you appreciate it more as a piece of art, than a game. The lower half of this game, is soulless, and brutal. Played it many times..

Interesting, I never knew they made a pinball game "loosely" based on the taito classic. At least I think thats the case.
