My maternal great-grandfather George Edwards (Brother Eddy) was born in 1875 or 1874. He rescued and took lots of people to safety in his fishing boat at the 1902 La Soufrière Volcano eruption. He donated land for the Save Soul, Gospel Hall Church. He helped in the establishment of the Campden Park Agricultural and Experimental station. He was a farmer, a fisherman, a medicine man (Herbalist). He was a preacher. People used to travel from different islands to visit my great grandfather for medical help. He was helpful to the people who were from Walibou, too. I think that he went to Panama to work "diggers" during the construction of the Panama Canal. At least 68 families from Walibou were relocated to Campden Park. Some of the people were relocated to Claire Valley. Brother Eddy had members of his family who resided in Claire Valley. He planted the coconut palms in Lowmans Bay. Brother Eddy was an all-rounder in the things he did.

I watched this video a few years ago now I'm back here 4 days after it erupted explosively. To hear that the current eruption is far worse than the one of 1979 is truly devastating 💔

We here in Bermuda are praying earnestly for all of the people of St Vincent, their farms, properties and animals, that God will help them by keeping them safe and healthy, with the strength and means to deal with such a calamity as this. Also, that any needed help will arrive to them promptly. We also pray similarily, for the nearby islands impacted by the volcano eruption like Barbados and for any other place in the world known and unknown impacted by any natural distress. We also pray for the healing of the world from the Covid19 Viruses and any other type of viral outbreak, and that you will rid the world of them all. We give thanks to Thee O God for hearing our prayers and answering the call. Hallowed be Your Name, Your Kingdom Reign, Your Will be Done on Earth as it IS in Heaven, for To You is the Power and the Glory for Ever. We thank you for sending your son Jesus/Yeshua and for giving us YOUR HOLY SPIRIT! Forgive us our transgressions as we forgive those who have transgressed against us, for the Kingdom, this world and all other worlds are YOURS. Praise be to Thee Our Heavenly Father! We ask for this in your Son Jesus'/Yeshua's name. Help us please. We give THANKS to YOU AMEN.
